Everyone loves a cute baby model, right? In fact, we’d even go so far as to say that everyone loves babies because let’s face it – they’re all so cute!
That’s why we reckon judges at cutest baby contests have the hardest job in the world.
It’s also why your little cherub may just have the perfect opportunity to break into the world of baby modelling. Why’s that?
Well, let’s explain why the world needs baby models.
If you’re a parent, then you know that there’s a seemingly endless list of baby products out there on the market. And quite often, the best way to market these products is to show you pictures of a cute baby with that very product.
It could be baby food, toys, clothing, or even baby mops (yes, they are actually a real thing). Whatever it is, the chances are that a big brand needs an infant model to help them promote it.
And that’s where you and your aspiring baby model come into the picture.
It doesn’t matter how big or small your baby is. It doesn’t how much hair they have on that cute little head or how few teeth they have. Once they are three months or older, they could have a genuine chance of fame and success in the world of baby modelling.
Okay, perhaps we’re overselling the fame aspect, but nevertheless, big brands are always keen on using baby models in their advertising and marketing campaigns. That’s why here at Bubblegum, we’re always on the lookout for fresh little faces to add to our list of infant models.
In short, joining a baby or newborn agency could be a golden opportunity for your child to take their first steps in the baby modelling industry.
Baby modelling takes quite a lot of effort from parents. You need to be prepared to take your baby to modelling shoots and help keep him or her calm when it’s time to shoot.
Most importantly, though, your baby also needs to be okay with being held by other adults, and this is the one aspect of infant modelling that can become a bit of an obstacle.
You see, many photo shoots involve adult models working alongside baby models. Sometimes brands may look for a parent or guardian to work on a shoot with their baby, but in truth, the opportunities are few and far between. The reality is that while you will be there the whole time, your baby needs to be comfortable in the arms of another grown-up.
So if you think your baby has the right personality to work alongside other children and grown-ups who are not you, then we’d love to hear from you.
We have offices in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane that work as baby casting agencies and schedule regular open casting events in each office. You shouldn’t have to wait too long before the next one comes around. For those of you in the Gold Coast and Perth, while we don’t have a physical office there, we’re still planning on running open casting events there too!
If all things go well with your baby’s casting we’ll invite you to join the agency and start looking out for the perfect baby modelling opportunity for their modelling job.
We’ll put your baby forward for any suitable modelling jobs that come into the agency and make sure that all of our clients know that we have a new baby on the books.
Unfortunately, we can’t guarantee that a client will offer your baby work. After all, the final decision lies with them. Although your baby may be the cutest child that ever entered the infant modelling industry, they may have a specific requirement for their photo shoot.
What we can guarantee, however, is that we’ll do our very best to make sure that every client that approaches us in their search for a baby will know about your child.
We’ll also pay close attention to the market, and if we hear even the slightest whisper of a baby modelling job, we’ll find it and make sure your baby has a chance to land it.
Joining a top baby modelling agency is a great opportunity to get involved in the modelling industry and who knows where it may take your child. So if you think your little one has what it takes (of course they do) then don’t be shy. Apply now as baby and toddler models are wanted, and we’ll get right back to you as soon as we can.
That’s simple enough; just take some photos and give us a call! Okay, so maybe it’s not quite that simple, but that is the first step you should take.
Everyone thinks their baby should be a model, but not all babies are cut out for the industry and believe us, it has nothing to do with looks. Baby models need to have a happy disposition so they’re easy to photograph. They also need to be happy enough being held by strangers as they will almost certainly need to work with adult models or other kids.
The best way to find out if your baby is a fit for this type of work is to get in touch with us and we’ll arrange a quick interview with both you and your baby.
Yes, it is indeed. This is a great opportunity for you to help your baby save a little cash for a rainy day.
Not only that but it’s a great way to build a network of contacts in case your baby wants to do some modelling work when they grow a little older.
We have worked with just about every major brand and advertising company in Australia including Nike, Target, David Jones, and Disney. You can check out some of the other amazing clients we’ve worked with on our work page.
For sure! We hope that your baby will stay with Bubblegum as they grow. All our locations operate as toddler modelling agencies as well. In fact, we have lots of kids on our books that started out as baby models.
Not at all. Babies are not expected to do too much and photographers are quite understanding when it comes to a baby’s workload. No one will put you or your baby under any pressure to work.
At Bubblegum, we represent some of Australia’s brightest young stars, but even so, we’re always on the lookout for fresh new faces and talent.
If your child is aged anywhere from 3 months to 17 years of age, and you think they might have what it takes to shine in front of a camera or on stage, then we want to hear from you.
We’ll set up a quick informal chat where we’ll get a feel for your child’s suitability for working in the industry.
The lucky kids that make it onto our books benefit from in-house workshops and coaching sessions to help them brush up on their skills. They’ll also get great advice and tips from the Bubblegum team, some of whom have worked as child models and actors themselves! We’ll even arrange a portfolio shoot with our in-house photographer.
We want all the kids on our books to have their chance to shine and if that means working twice as hard to make it happen, then that’s what we’ll do!
